Mounir is well-positioned to support companies with a sustainability angle, or those in need of guidance in terms of the management of the infrastructural side of their business, covering elements such as energy, water, waste, and transportation.

 

Mounir is a Senior Manager at PwC’s Cities and Local Government Sector advisory practice. He was formerly a Senior Sustainability Engineer at SEE Nexus, and a consultant for The Sustainable City project in Dubai, where he was responsible for the management of water, waste, and mobility pillars. He holds a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering and a Master’s of Engineering Design in Sustainable Infrastructure, and has 3 years of experience in water and wastewater treatment.

 

From 2015-2018, he worked in the City Development & Operations department at Emaar Economic City, the master developer of the King Abdullah Economic City. During this role, he was responsible for strategic Water, Power, Transportation, Sustainability & Innovation projects and initiatives. He is also a Senior Advisor for the Local Pathways Fellowship initiative of the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network.
