With startups and SMEs employing over 46% of the Emirate’s workforce and contributing 42.8% to Abu Dhabi's non-oil GDP, the task force aims to create an enabling business environment tailored to their needs. By closely monitoring market dynamics and providing support, it aims to strengthen their role as a key pillar for building a diversified and sustainable economy.
His Excellency Fouad Darwish, Board Member of ADCCI and Chairman of the Startups and SMEs Task Force, emphasized the group's role in developing plans and policies to attract enterprises to promising sectors, particularly in modern technology.
