The Advocacy Hub aims to support and empower the private sector by facilitating communication between businesses and government agencies. It will amplify the private sector’s voice, foster constructive dialogue, propose innovative solutions, and provide a platform for ideas and recommendations on policies and legislation. This contributes to advancing the private sector and consolidating the competitiveness of the Emirate's economy.
In the first phase, businesses from various sectors will be invited to propose communal working groups, addressing their interests and enhancing their competitive capabilities. The Chamber will continuously assess the private sector's position, identifying challenges, and proposing practical solutions for positive changes.
During the second phase, 40 Communal Working Groups will be formed, representing various economic activities based on proposals received from businesses. This initiative is unique in terms of interaction and private sector involvement in decision-making.
His Excellency Abdulla Mohamed Al Mazrui, Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, said, “The Advocacy Hub initiative embodies our leadership’s directives, aiming to support the private sector and strengthen cooperation between the public and private sectors. The goal is to preserve and develop Abu Dhabi's achievements in comprehensive development.”
His Excellency Ahmed Khalifa Al Qubaisi, CEO of the Abu Dhabi Chamber, confirmed that the initiative will provide a supportive environment for Working Groups, whether sectoral or representing economic activities in the Emirate. These groups will bolster the Abu Dhabi Chamber's endeavors to align with the evolving economy while advancing the collective goals of the Emirate’s business community.
“The Abu Dhabi Chamber will continue to launch initiatives contributing to improving the Emirate's business ecosystem, providing support to entrepreneurs for effective and sustainable growth,” Al Qubaisi added.
