This comprehensive framework agreement contributes to consolidating the position of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi as a world-leading destination in the field of air mobility applications in cities, with the expected launch of flights of the famous “Archer Airlines” aircraft “Midnight” during the next year. .

The aspects of cooperation between the Abu Dhabi Investment Office and Archer Aviation include establishing helipads for flying taxis, supporting its operations in the UAE, and manufacturing the “Midnight” aircraft in the country. Under the agreement, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office will work to launch training programs to develop national cadres capable of working in this sector, and facilitate the establishment of the international headquarters of Archer Aviation, in addition to establishing its global center of excellence in Abu Dhabi.

Commenting on the signing of the agreement, Badr Salim Sultan Al Olama, Acting Director General of the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, said : “Abu Dhabi is leading efforts to launch electric flying taxis globally.
