At the program's conclusion, one standout company will be awarded seed funding to support its ongoing development.
Applications are invited from established, revenue-generating start-ups that are developing business models aligned with the program's key focus areas. Interested parties can apply for the six-month mentorship program until March 15th via the program's website.
Eugene Willemsen, CEO of Africa, Middle East, and South Asia at PepsiCo and CEO of International Beverages, commented on the significance of the Mega Green Accelerator, highlighting the need for collaboration and infrastructure to support innovative climate technologies in the region. Roland Daher, CEO of AstroLabs, underscored the program's role in fostering the Gulf region's sustainability sector, connecting businesses and driving innovation in response to climate change.
Strategic investment partners such as Dubai Future District Fund, Venture Souq, and Shurooq Partners will provide platforms for investment opportunities, mentorship, and networking, while ecosystem partners will source applicants, amplify accelerator knowledge, and communicate progress through their respective networks. Schneider Electric will contribute as a prize partner, participating in the final selection of participants.
