Aldar is hosting its second Pitch-A-Thon on April 18, during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, at the World Future Energy Summit.
Following a first edition that saw 11 startups present their innovative sustainable solutions to the Abu Dhabi-based integrated real estate developer in January 2023, the event is a chance for Climate Tech-focused startups to present innovative solutions to an audience of Aldar representatives and fellow innovators, gain visibility, get exclusive insights into successful startup collaborations with Aldar, and potentially collaborate on Aldar’s pioneering projects. Indeed, some of last year’s participants, whose solutions were a match for specific problem statements, are in follow-up conversations with various Aldar business units to explore possible pilot projects and partnerships.
Each of the six to eight participating startups will get a 5-minute pitch slot to explain:

What problem they’re solving;

How big this problem is;
-
How their solution addresses this problem in a unique way;

How much traction they currently have;
-
Who they are;
-
Why they’re the best fit;
-
And – even better – why the solution is relevant to Aldar, its operations, and its progress towards its Net Zero goal.

Then, a 5-minute Q&A session will follow with an audience comprising of Aldar’s business experts in sustainability, innovation, strategy & transformation, and development & projects.
