While startups have many means of securing funding, angel investors time and time again prove to be the most grounded and personal source yet. Bringing a human element into the mix, startups often find a nurturing figure in an angel investor, someone willing to take a risk on them, while accompanying them along the way and providing mentorship and support.
Emirates Angels, a community bringing together Abu Dhabi's angel investors, and Legal Circle, a specialist consultancy, will be hosting a webinar that aims to educate startups on the ins and outs of securing angel investor funding.
This webinar will address the common legal concerns from the perspective of a startup entity: common terminology, rights and obligations of the founders and investors, commonly used instruments including SAFE notes, term sheets, corporate structure, protecting IP, and more.
