Youth, education, and entrepreneurship: INJAZ UAE scales up company program for 2021-22 edition 

With a successful track record in building businesses and youth entrepreneurs, the upscaled 'Company Program' MEGA will be a nationwide entrepreneurship experience, with the Emirate-level competitions taking place in May, ahead of the UAE nationals in June.

INJAZ UAE, a member of Junior Achievement (JA) Worldwide, the world’s largest non-profit business education organization, has announced its plan to upscale the INJAZ’s flagship Company Program at a national level, introducing the ‘Company Program MEGA’. The revamped program aims to increase the reach of the program from the current implementation within one Emirate, to span all seven Emirates reaching over 500 students and +65 teams.

The ‘Company Program MEGA’ will be a multi-tiered competition, with students across the Emirates competing at an Emirates level, with winners moving onto the national level, ahead of the final regional competition. With a successful track record in building businesses and youth entrepreneurs, the upscaled Company Program MEGA will be a nationwide entrepreneurship experience, with the Emirate-level competitions taking place in May, ahead of the UAE nationals in June.

Commenting on the announcement, Razan Bashiti, Chief Executive Officer, INJAZ UAE, said: "The INJAZ UAE Company Program has been a resounding success with over 10,000 student graduates over the last 12 years. Recently revamped, the Company Program prepares students with the right entrepreneurship skills of this age. The brainchild of Junior Achievement Worldwide, the Company Program runs across 100 countries and has generated over 100 million success stories to date. Program materials have been improved with a deeper focus on entrepreneurship, design thinking, business case development, customer and go to market strategy a deep understanding of the Middle East start-up ecosystem success cases. Program execution has also been digitized with the addition of active student exercises through breakout challenges on entrepreneurial topics that range from developing a north star to developing an elevator pitch.
