The Ma’an Social Incubator (MSI) is a social impact incubator in Abu Dhabi that is devoted to encouraging innovation and entrepreneurship to develop solutions to social, cultural, or environmental challenges. Twice a year, MSI hosts 10 promising teams and provides them with the resources and support they need in order to grow and thrive.
It is a unique chance for budding entrepreneurs to develop their innovative ideas for social impact into a social enterprise or not-for-profit association.
About the current challenge
The theme of the Fifth cohort of the Ma’an’s Social Incubator (MSI) will focus on Senior Citizens and Residents. Applications are now open for social entrepreneurs to develop sustainable solutions to enhance the lives of seniors within Abu Dhabi following the areas of inclusion, capability building and economic empowerment.

What’s on offer
The incubation journey
1. Application – Submit Application.
2. Shortlisting – Ma’an Incubation team will review all submitted and relevant applications against structured scoring criteria. 30 startups will be shortlisted and invited to the Pitch Day. All applicants will be informed of their results.
3. Pitch Day – Eligible teams will be invited to pitch before an expert Judging Committee. 10 startups will be selected to join the cohort. All teams will be informed of their results.
4. Incubation – The 10 teams will join the incubator program and receive funding and undergo compulsory attendance to class-led intensive learning sessions to develop their MVPs.
